Frequently asked questions

The times differ from my mosque's calendar.

Check Settings > "Calculation Method"; the default is Diyanet (Türkiye). If needed, Settings > "Manual Time Adjustment" lets you shift each prayer by ± minutes.

I don't get notifications.

Check the app's notification permission in your phone settings and, on Android, battery saver restrictions. The Reminders screen in the app tells you if a permission is missing.

How do I move my records to a new phone?

Create a backup file with My Profile > "Back Up" and restore it on the new phone. If your phone's own backup (iCloud or Google) is on, your records move with it too.

How do I delete my data?

Settings > My Data > "Delete All My Data". Deleting the app also removes all records; we hold no records about you.

I'm unsure about a religious matter.

The religious explanations in the app follow the Hanafi school, and prayer times follow the Diyanet calculation. For a definitive ruling, please consult a qualified scholar; if you spot a mistake, please write to us.

Is there an adhan sound?

For now, prayer notifications use your phone’s notification sound. We are working on adding an adhan recorded specifically for the app, with clear rights.

How do I send a greeting card?

On Fridays, holy nights and Eids, tap the banner on the home screen; or go to More > Calendar > "Greeting Cards". Pick a colour, add your name and a short message if you like, then tap "Share Card".
